Water Absorption (ASTM C373 / ISO 10545-3): Impervious porcelain status (< 0.5%), ensuring absolute resistance to moisture-driven structural breakdown.
Chemical Resistance (ASTM C650 / ISO 10545-13): Resistant to standard household chemicals, swimming pool salts, and atmospheric pollution.

In Puerto Rico, the installer must be a registered DACO contractor and hold a certification from the CTI (Ceramic Tile Installer) and/or CPIL. For U.S. installations, a licensed tile professional must handle the project, strictly following TCNA standards for outdoor vertical surfaces, using ANSI A118.15-compliant setting materials, and incorporating proper expansion joints.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We strongly advise against scheduling your installation until all of your tiles have been delivered and thoroughly inspected for any defects. Since delivery/shipping damage is always a slight possibility, it is best to have your confirmed, undamaged order in hand before setting a start date with your builder.

This assurance covers all custom porcelain tile installations produced by EGEART TILES & FINE OBJECTS from the date of official handover. For twenty-five (25) years, we guarantee that the porcelain material will not:
Fade or Discolor: The artistic vision remains vibrant. Our high-firing digital technology and traditional craftsmanship ensure complete UV resistance, preventing any fading, yellowing, or loss of color brilliance from sun exposure.
Crack, Craze, or Shatter due to Material Defect: Under normal architectural use and environmental conditions, the porcelain will resist structural failure, maintaining its high-density, impact-resistant surface.
Degrade from Weathering: Formulated for maximum durability, the material is fully frost-proof, thermal shock-resistant, and impervious to moisture absorption (less than 0.5%), preventing water damage or moisture-driven degradation in tropical or extreme climates.
Suffer Surface Wear from Non-Industrial Use: The glazed or unglazed vitreous surface will resist scratching and chemical etching from standard atmospheric conditions and residential/commercial cleaning agents.

Exclusions from Coverage
While porcelain is built for generational permanence, this assurance does not cover damage resulting from:
Improper Installation: Issues arising from improper substrate preparation, structural settling of the building, improper mortar/adhesive selection, or failure to follow ANSI installation standards.
Structural Movements: Major shifting, cracking, or settling of the underlying architectural foundation or wall structure.
Abuse and Vandalism: Severe mechanical impacts, accidental damage, use of inappropriate abrasive industrial machinery, or intentional vandalism.
Acts of God: Extreme catastrophic events exceeding standard architectural design parameters (e.g., severe earthquakes, direct lightning strikes, or explosions).
